A bit busier on the gallops......

As the man says......things are a wee bit busier on the gallops, as more of the NH string complete their introductory couple of weeks of walking and trotting.

First out on Saturday morning were Keyboard Gangster (Callum) and Big Bad Dream (Kingy), who both delighted their riders. Each horse did a couple of steady canters on the Up-the-Middle gallop.

Next out were a group of 5. Eternally Yours (Georgina) and Paper Promise were given a couple of gentle canters, while Baby Ticker, Stainsby Girl and Dali Mail stretched their legs just the once.

Finally, with Callum taking The Boo Box for some trotting in the nearby lanes, a quartet of 'Grace', Princess Apollo, Side of the Road and Paper Roses were on the gallops. 'Grace' and Side of the Road came up twice steadily.

The last to come in.....

Over the next few days, we'll bring in the last (for now!) of the NH string.

Danced Every Dance and our 4 year old Getaway filly will be joined in the next couple of days by a Malinas gelding that Rob Bewley is sending along to Dodlands.
One horse we've not mentioned is our 4 year old Arakan gelding, whose in his box but having a quiet couple of days while a small cut sustained at grass clears up. He'll be exercising before the week is out though.

Some more on the horses bought in Ireland last month. 'Hope' (Shantou filly) is being educated with Gary Rutherford, and she'll be joined soon by our Durban Thunder filly ('Mila').
Gary's a busy man these days, but Brian Harding has kindly agreed to take our two gelding purchases down to his yard, so 'Hill' (Mountain High gelding) and 'Sebastian' (Prince Flori 3 yr old) will be making their way across the border this week.
