Ayr Saturday - a couple of live chances
It's just over 3 years since
Eternally Yours was last successful and
today at Ayr she runs off that same winning mark of OR116. She put in
some decent performances in the meantime and this is the first time she has been
able to run off that handicap rating. Top weight though in this extended
2m 5f at 1.00pm.
After a bit of recent rain, the advance going is soft
She's very well at home - had to have some time of due to a superficial
self-inflicted (!) injury - and Craig Nichol takes the ride in the
stable colours.
Others have justifiable claims too, and the main opposition could come from Jessiemac and Mega Yeats.
Oh, and Miss Joanna Walton (Claiming 5), pictured below on Eternally Yours below, is in direct opposition aboard the well-fancied, last time out scorer Lissen To The Lady.

Shoeshine Boy (Craig again) is our second runner of the day in the 3m ½f 0-110 handicap hurdle at 3.20. He has now finished runner up in his last 3 races but we hope he will strip fitter now following his last race which came after a 57 day break. That Carlisle race was won by Don Brocco who re-opposes again today and you'd imagine that the Graham-Rutherford gelding would also come on for the race.
Top weight Stoney Rover has some good form this season but having reportedly broken blood vessels just 25 days ago when 4th over course and distance, he may have something to prove.
Tight handicap so let's hope the enthusiastic lads of Mousetrap Racing have a good day!
