5 to follow - the 2019-20 competition

Such was the success of the inaugural in-house 5-to-follow competition last season, there wasn't really much hesitation in staging a renewal for 2019-20.
And, there will be so many twists and turns to be unveiled over the forthcoming months.

• Will Dodlands Steading top owner and last season's winner, Mouse Young, repeat his success?
• Can any of the Whillans family beat young Freddie, who clearly possesses a wealth of equine knowledge that belies his tender age
• 'Ah, but we know a lot better now!!' - the bullish cry from our trio of teenage stable lasses. Will this bear fruit?

Watch out in the next few weeks as entries are received, before formal under-starters-orders towards the end of October.

Basic Rules
Select 5 horses from the stable plus 1 reserve and accumulate points throughout the season to finish around the end of April 2020.

Points are allocated as

• 5 points for a win
• 3 points for a second place
• 1 point for a third place
• 1 point for a fourth place if there are 16 or more runners

Reserve horse will be substituted in the event of injury, or the competitors choice on/after 1st January 2020.
