Goodknight Percy at Newcastle

Unfortunately our juvenile hurdler Goodknight Percy broke a blood vessel during his race at Newcastle yesterday. It was quite severe, and the chesnut gelding weakened at the halfway point, having travelled and jumped well up to that point. Callum pulled him up at the bottom of the home straight.

At this stage, it would be our thinking that a career as a racehorse would not really be an option. The 3yr old, a lovely gelding who quickly became a favourite in the yard will make an excellent riding horse, and we'll be looking to find him a good home soon.
