Hexham tomorrow, if by some miracle it beats the frost....
Sam Patch is entered in the 3m 1f handicap chase at Hexham tomorrow.
There's an 8 a.m. inspection, and racing must be odds against - a bit
like how we're feeling about life at the moment given our luck in
running over the last couple of days......
Amongst his 5 rivals is likely favourite Samson Collonges who beat our
fellow by a couple of lengths last time - there is now a 5lb swing at
the weights. Is this enough over 4f further???
Sam is well, and should again be competitive with regular rider Wilson Renwick in the saddle.
No luck at Sedgefield today
Texas Tilly ran quite green on her racecourse debut, facing just 2 rivals. She screwed awkwardly in mid air at the 6th flight and gave Callum no chance of keeping the partnership intact.
Mini the Minx couldn't really land a blow in her handicap hurdle race, but kept on in her usual fashion to finish 6th.
