Pallas Lord returns to Newcastle

Newcastle 4th January : 4.40 pm 1m 5yds 0-55 handicap (Class 6)

After his brief sojourn in Wolverhampton, Pallas Lord returns to familiar territory at Newcastle on Thursday evening where he is a course & distance winner for the race above. PJ rides in the stable colours.

The tongue-tie was applied in that Wolverhampton event for the first time since the gelding joined our yard - almost two years ago now - and he responded by running his best race for some time over tonight's trip of 1 mile (and loose change).
If reproducing that form (he was runner up) he should go close, but the main danger lies with a couple of horses obviously named by numeracy lovers.

Top weight Eleven Eleven (double points) has plenty of ability at this level but can run freely, which may be seen by some as an indicator to try a furlong shorter at this track. Main player nonetheless.
Fifty Sent has finally been give a chance by the handicapper these last couple of runs, is now racing off OR54 (lowest ever) and takes a drop in class too. First time visored....he's probably the one to beat.
