Return to the turf for Pallas Lord on Sunday
Musselburgh 21st April : 4.45 pm 1m 0-70 Hurdle (Class 5)
It's been quite a Winter AW Season for Pallas Lord.
Five wins (all at Newcastle) and numerous placed efforts too, from a
season that started with a couple of runs at Ayr & Musselburgh. His
handicap mark has risen from OR52 to today's mark of OR65 and it is that
handicap mark that has been carried forward to the turf.
Remarkably, this genuine 6yr old seemed better than ever when winning over 7f at Newcastle at the end of last month. But just how will tha form on tapeta transfer to the good to soft/good ground at Musselburgh? We can but try to find out.
Jason Hart has established a good partnership with our gelding and is again in the saddle for this 1 mile event.
Of the others in this competitive event, Bell Shot has shown improved form since his transfer to Mick Appleby's yard and looks one of the main dangers here.
