Pallas Lord heads down to Redcar

Kinerton Hill was only beaten just over 11 lengths last Thursday at Wetherby but that was only good enough for 8th of 9. We'd hoped for better......

It has been 8 runs - and two wins - on the AW since Pallas Lord ran on turf at Thirsk last season but if you go back to his third run as a 3 year old, he was successful over 7 furlongs on soft at Carlisle. Which is exactly the going and distance our 4yr old faces at Redcar on Monday in Div 2 of the handicap at 2.05.

Successful jockey from a couple of Friday's ago at Newcastle Ryan Sexton again claim the 7lbs, although this time out of apprentice class. Up 2lb, though he's fit and in good form but this is a return to turf so you never know.
Harvest Day may prove to be his toughest opponent with top-weight Patontheback also in good form on the All Weather.

There are brighter prospects for runs from our NH String as there's smatterings of rain forecast for the country over the next fortnight, so keep your eyes peeled for entries from the stable.
