News from the yard

Dreamy Chuckie
Dream Ahead (left, Sarah) and Tomahawk Wood (Callum)

The jumpers are all back in, with the final trio - Baby Ticker, 'Sting' and Bid Bad Dream - returned from summer grass into the yard on Monday. The mare Baby Ticker was looking fat (er, I mean carrying lovely condition) and very well, so she's been spoiled as always by Rachel - many thanks!
Both the geldings took the eye in terms of furnishing into their fine frames, with our unraced Scorpion gelding ('Sting') having grown an inch or so (measured at 16.3hh by Callum!).

So it's still quite a low key training regime for the winter horses at present, and two or three of the more forward types are having two gallops in the morning, but most on the gallops are being handled steadily and the later returning members of the string are completing their couple of weeks of roadwork.
