Baby runs so bravely in defeat

Fierce wind and driving snow didn’t make it the most enjoyable day ever at the races.

However, on watching at home you wouldn’t have known how cold it felt but still Baby Ticker and The Delray Munky battled neck and neck throughout the final 3 flights, with no quarter given. Scobie Jardine’s mare was slightly more fluent at the last and went a length clear, but Callum switched ‘Baby’ on the run-in to get within a nose before the winner pulled out a little more near the line.

Two brave horses, a cracking race, a fine second place for us and once again we were delighted with another of Baby Ticker’s performances this season.
