Fine third place for Wor Lass at Ayr yesterday

She's certainly a mare in fine fettle, and Wor Lass ran another pleasing race to finish 3rd in the stayers race at Ayr yesterday.

Settled in third place, tracking the leading pair, Rowan Scott had Wor Lass travelling nicely throughout, but was just pipped for a bit of finishing speed below the furlong marker. Still, she kept on to the line, beaten just under 5 lengths but a massive 15 lengths back to the horse in 4th (9 runners).
