Danced Every Dance runs at Sedgefield tomorrow evening

Danced Every Dance will run in Sedgefield‘s bumper tomorrow evening where the advance going of good to soft (soft in places) will suit our mare.
On her only previous run at Musselburgh, Danced Every Dance was a bit wayward when spotting the comfort of the stables upon entering the back straight so Callum will be wary of the Sedgefield equivalent round about a furlong from the post.

It’s a fairly competitive race with a few with form to win such a race and a couple of interesting newcomers on pedigree. Olly Murphy sends up two of the ten runners, with the obvious form horse being It’s O Kay (2nd to our own Paper Promise last time), plus Foxtrot Juliet whose two runs have both been on the AW but shapes like a stayer. She may be more suited to the 2m 1f and undulations of Sedgefield.
Whittington’s Jumbo Davis is a point runner up, and comes from a family littered with bumper winners, and the same pedigree profile applies to McCain’s unraced Whiteoak Fleur, a daughter of Black Sam Bellamy - a sire who has had a very good season.
Of course, a Northern bumper wouldn’t be complete without an Irish raider and Noel Kelly’s Dolly’s Destination was noted running a nice race when 4th at Down Royal to a trio from the Irish powerhouse stables.

Danced Every Dance worked well yesterday, and we’d expect her to put in a bold show but there does look to be 3 or 4 likely sorts in opposition with good form and/or eye-catching pedigrees.
Best of luck to joint owner 'Wee Davie' Brown, enjoy the evening.

Baby Ticker out of luck at Ayr (Friday)

Well, she ran well enough and Callum kept Baby Ticker to the outer to get a better look at her hurdles. That paid off in that she jumped quite well, and came to challenge the leading group after 3 out.  But Callum could tell that she was hating the good ground, and soon fell away, finishing 8th in the end.

Baby Ticker will be roughed off now and will be out to grass in the next couple of weeks or so.
