Couple of runners tomorrow at Ayr
First up is Tomahawk Wood in the 2m 5f handicap chase.
He's looking to build upon a promising effort first time out over the
fairly stiff fences at Newcastle a couple of weeks back. Callum takes
the ride again, and he'll be looking for the race to provide our chesnut
gelding with the opportunity to gain more confidence in jumping fences
in a racing environment.
He has ran okay on heavy ground previously, so we hope Tomahawk Wood
continues to improve.

Our other horse at Ayr certainly has nothing to prove, that being our
4 time winning hurdler Hartforth.
Having said that, he didn't really get competitive last season, but he
has been showing a little of his old sparkle at home recently.
Hartforth will be well suited by the testing conditions but he'll need
put his best foot forward tomorrow as this is quite a competitive race.

Belated happy birthday!
To our young weekend team member Matthew 'Kingy' King who turned 18 last week.
