Hexham runner tomorrow
Big Bad Dream is entered in the bumper at Hexham tomorrow, on what will be his second race of his career having run a promising 3rd to Sam's Adventure at Ayr a couple of months ago. It's a race that has worked out well in terms of subsequent form of the runners - thus far!
With none of the newcomers having pedigrees that scream being a first
time out bumper winner, the race may well be played out by the four
horses with the best form on show to date.
Wig Wam Wiggle's follow up run after a fine debut performance on testing
ground, may have come a bit quick, but may be expected to improve a bit
as a consequence.
The same can be said of the mare Questionation, from across the Irish
Sea. She has raced keenly in both starts to date, and if settling
this time would go very close.
Schiaparannie makes her debut for the
Malcolm Jefferson yard - she was 3rd on her only start to date. Her sire (Schiaparelli) has had his first
couple of winners in April.
So, it could be close between the above three and Big Bad Dream, but we hope our Mountain High gelding can be competitive here and hit the frame.

New horse in the yard
About a week ago, we welcomed a new horse into the yard, a 2 year old colt by Dream Ahead named Borders Dream.
You can click on the above name for more details of the horse, pedigree
and so on.
We also welcome members of the Onwards & Upwards Partnership
who own the juvenile, who will be trained for the Flat this season.
The youngster has settled in well in his new surroundings, and at present is completing his roadwork (strolling, trotting in the nearby lanes) before he is moved on to first exposure of the gallops. Nice horse, and even just by judging the photo below, he'll probably have some growing to do over the next few months.
