News from the gallops
A misty start on Saturday after such a fine week, with lots of blue
skies.
First lot up the woodchip were
- Endoli mare (Aiden) who has done well over the summer and is
impressing in these early season gallops
- Hartforth (Lyall) a gelding who always thrives in the mornings ,
worked well in each of his 2 spins
- Gamut filly (Kingy) another unraced youngster who'll be heading
for a bumper once the ground eases
- Snapping Turtle (Jordan) not the fastest of the string, but is
nearing the fitness level required for a seasonal re-appearance
Each of the above horses did 2 gallops, but they were joined second
time up by
- Ellistrin Belle (Pinkie) a winning hurdler who doesn't need much
work to keep fit
- Definite Article gelding (Ross) a youngster who's just started
to work upsides the string
Our Endoli mare (Aiden), leads Hartforth (Lyall) and the Gamut filly (Kingy)
Second lot on Saturday also did a couple of pieces of work
- Champagne Agent (Kingy) has been running during the summer months
had an easy work out
- Shades of
Midnight (Ross) another to do well during the summer, is working
well
- Tomahawk Wood
(Pinkie) is very well at present, did a couple of nice spins up to
middle
