Runner at Newcastle tomorrow

King Kalium runs in the 3m handicap hurdle at Newcastle tomorrow, and we hope he can build on the promise of his seasonal debut at Kelso 3 weeks ago. On that occasion he was travelling well to 2 out before tiring.

Although he has gone up in the handicap, this is actually not a bad thing as he has more chance of beating the ballot off a BHA mark of 74 than off 62.

Anyway, he shouldn't be inconvenienced by the going of good to soft, so we're looking for another competitive display from the Kayf Tara gelding.
