Saturday Night at Newcastle
Newcastle 10th February : 7.15 pm 1m 5yds 0-58 handicap (Class 6)
With Pallas Lord in such fine form (2212) in the last couple of
months, it's no wonder we hold our breath in case that run may come to
an end.
But, meantime, we'll enjoy ourselves at Newcastle.
If it's not Meydan it's Wolverhampton for PJ, but Jason Hart is
available so comes in for an attractive ride.
Old rival Odd Socks Havana ran too free last time under an apprentice
so the booking of Andrew Mullen could be significant. If this hard
puller can be restrained , a return to the form which saw him finish a
close 3rd to our lad over c&d in early January could be on the cards.
Major player.
But Reclaim Victory has been shaping well in recent runs and has changed
stable (Ellison to Collier) since her last run here 3 weeks ago. Should
be there to take a hand in the finish.
Still, Pallas Lord has been in fine form at home and is fancied to record his second win of the season.
As always, best of luck to the faithful Hawick lads.
